This is my first blog and thank you for reading it.
Previous weekend was the opening of the Open Atelier Oost 2010 in Amsterdam-East. This is a 2 days event that took place on 27 and 28 March. In Amsterdam-East area 125 artists have openend their workshops or collective workshops to show the public their work. The Municipality Amsterdam-East wants tot promote art in this quarters and this is a nice occasion of starting.
My girlfriend has also took part in this event. Our location was number 33 at artist collective BK49. In two days time around 600 visitors visited this location. We felt that, because it was so crowed in the building. After two days we are agreed that this event is a good experience. Also nice to know so many people are interested in art.
